This is a virtual peer support group run weekly for trans, non-binary, and two spirit sex workers on Zoom in the local area. People with current or former experience are welcome. Participants can access general community drop-in services for meals and other assistance as well. We also hold occasional community gathering events.

Trans+ Peer Support Group
A peer support gathering for trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, or otherwise gender-diverse folks exploring eating disorder recovery.
This space is facilitated by trans and nonbinary people who have experienced eating disorders. Anyone who is part of this community and wants to explore their relationship with food or disordered eating is welcome.
There are 2 cohorts (participants can sign-up for one or both groups) which run for 4 weeks at a time.

Transcend is a weekly Nanaimo-based peer support group for 2-spirit, trans, gender diverse and questioning youth aged 12-17 in Nanaimo and the surrounding area. The group is a safe and supportive environment for members to explore their identities, share experiences, and build connections.

Transgathering: Medical
Transgathering: Medical is a safer space for gender diverse and gender exploring folk to discuss medical transition. Discussion can revolve around surgery, hormones, hair removal, natural alternatives to medical transition, etc. Folks at all stages of their medical transition journey are welcome - whether they are yet to start, or hoping to share wisdom, resources, and experiences.
Note: Transgathering: Medical is facilitated by peers. Medical professionals/doctors are not involved in regular meetings and the group cannot provide medical advice.
The group is open to folks who are 18+, living in B.C. currently, and trans, gender-diverse, two-spirit, gender exploring, etc.

TransParent Okanagan Support and Education Society
Kelowna
TransParent is a non-profit society developed by and for parents and caregivers of trans, gender diverse, and two-spirit people in the Okanagan. We host monthly facilitated in-person support meetings for parents, as well as family social events, guest speakers and educational opportunities. We also moderate and maintain a closed online support group and act as advocates on behalf of families. We provide educational workshops and speak to classes, organizations, and media. We maintain a lending library of books, videos, and other resources to support families.
